Are you accepting new patients?
Yes! Rainy River Veterinary Hospital is always happy to welcome new patients and their families.
What types of pets do you see?
We primarily care for dogs, cats, and other small animals. If you have questions about other species, please give us a call.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are required to ensure the best care and shortest wait times. That said, we understand emergencies happen—please call us as soon as possible if your pet needs urgent attention.
What should I bring to my pet’s first visit?
Please bring any previous medical records, vaccination history, current medications, and any questions or concerns you may have.
How often should my pet be seen by a veterinarian?
Pets should have a wellness exam once a year. Senior pets or those with ongoing medical needs may require more frequent visits.
Do you offer urgent or same-day appointments?
We do our best to accommodate urgent and same-day cases whenever possible. Availability can vary, so calling ahead is always best.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, major credit cards, Care Credit, and Cherry. Please contact our team if you have questions about payment methods.
Do you accept pet insurance?
We do not bill insurance directly, but we are happy to provide invoices and medical records to help you submit claims to your insurance provider.
